Join Provail's board of directors
PROVAIL seeks people with a passion for increasing inclusion, choice, equity, and opportunity for people with disabilities to join our Board of Directors. Often, this comes from a personal connection to disability. Other times, Board members build their passion from interaction with people we serve and learning about the great need for the services. Ideal candidates are strategic thinkers who want to engage in generative conversations and challenge assumptions. We look for members who are comfortable speaking up and asking questions, even about unfamiliar topics. Ideal members are willing to take on a leadership role.
Applicants should have:
- A passion to advance our mission of supporting people with disabilities to fulfill their life choices
- The drive and availability to actively participate in long-term strategic planning and connecting others to the mission of PROVAIL
- A willingness to engage in fundraising and community activities
Increasing inclusion for people with disabilities requires passionate engagement at the Board and staff level; we’re seeking strategic forward-thinking leaders with a willingness to adapt and innovate for increased impact. Join PROVAIL’s Board to bring your passion for inclusion, strategic mindset, and innovative spirit to help the leading disability service provider in the Puget Sound area continue to expand its impact on the lives of children and adults with disabilities.
