As the only organization in the region providing a comprehensive menu of services for a person with disabilities throughout their life, this event helps to ensure the work carry on without interruption. PROVAIL prides itself on building programs that emphasize personal choice, inclusion, equal opportunity, and equity.
Over one million adults in Washington state have a disability. That equates to 25% or 1 in 4 individuals. And in a time when Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) work are being prioritized across the nation, Disability continues to go unnoticed. Through serving the Puget Sound area with planned expansion across western Washington, our programs support three areas of life: Mobility & Communication, Employment Services, and Home & Lifestyle, which build a pathway to inclusion and ensure a future where we all grow.
Over the course of the COVID-19 pandemic, services have been limited or cut for individuals with disabilities, access to community events have disappeared, and opportunities for meaningful work have decreased. These harsh realities make PROVAIL’s work that much more crucial. Your investment in this event ensures that the clients we serve continue to receive comprehensive and necessary support.
