Make a Contribution

Every one of us has the right to pursue the life we choose.

When you make a gift to PROVAIL, you support our work to build pathways to inclusion, access, and equity so that people with disabilities can participate and engage in life according to their own choices.

Use the links below to explore the ways you can help PROVAIL continue to build a sustainable, impactful organization–one that is able to transform more lives by expanding our services.

WAYS TO GIVE

We appreciate your gift to PROVAIL. You can make a secure online donation or call us at 206.826.1060 to make your gift by phone. We accept Visa, MasterCard, AMEX and Discover. Please mail checks payable to PROVAIL to:

PROVAIL | Attn: Development | 12550 Aurora Avenue N. | Seattle, WA 98133.

Giving monthly is the most powerful way to support PROVAIL as we work to ensure individuals with disabilities are afforded the opportunity to self-direct their lives. The stability associated with monthly giving allows us to budget and plan as we work to bring our mission to life.  As a monthly donor, you are an indispensable part of the team, playing a direct role in our ability to set and achieve short and long term goals.

To set up your monthly donation, go to our secure online giving form, enter the amount you wish to give each month, and be sure to select “Monthly”.  You may adjust or suspend your giving at any time.  Just send an email to supportingchoices@provail.org or give us a call at 206.826.1060.

Many employers sponsor matching gift programs, and will often double (or even triple!) charitable donations made by their employees.

Use this simple tool to see if your employer participates!

Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you need assistance with your matching forms.  PROVAIL’s Federal Tax ID is 91-0593488.

PROVAIL welcomes donations through employer-sponsored payroll deduction campaigns. We are a charity member with Benevity (910593488) and a registered organization with the Washington State Combined Fund Drive (0320838).

Remember a lost loved one, recognize someone special, or commemorate a milestone by making a special gift in their name that will grow access and inclusion for people with disabilities.

Gifts in memory of someone: Celebrate the memory of someone special with a donation in remembrance. We’ll notify their loved ones of your gift, which allows their legacy to live on by advancing PROVAIL’s mission. Consider this meaningful way to pay your final respects.

Gifts in honor of someone: Honor someone who has made a difference in your life, recognize a milestone achievement, or celebrate a special occasion. PROVAIL will notify the honoree about the gift. Your special gift will give back, ensuring individuals with disabilities are seen, heard, and valued in their community.

The PROVAIL Legacy Circle honors and recognizes donors who have included PROVAIL in their estate plans. All planned gifts are welcome and important to PROVAIL, and there is no minimum to be a member. For more information about planned giving, please contact our Director of Development, Michael Sclafani, at michaels@provail.org.

A bequest is the easiest and most meaningful way to ensure that PROVAIL is working to maximize accessibility and inclusion for people with disabilities well into the future.  A bequest is a gift made through your estate, either directed by your will or through a trust distribution.

The first step is creating a legally binding will. We’ve partnered with FreeWill to provide you a quick, easy, and completely free resource to begin creating your last will and testament. Click here to start. Including a gift to PROVAIL in your will is a powerful way to ensure individuals with disabilities are afforded the same opportunities as others to self-direct their lives and engage with the community.

This tool is free to you, whether you choose to include a gift to PROVAIL or not. FreeWill offers online self-help solutions for common estate planning needs and related educational content. The donor-advised fund (DAF) is becoming an increasingly popular way to make a charitable gift.  DAFs allow you to make a charitable contribution, receive an immediate tax benefit and then make grants from the fund over time to PROVAIL, an IRS-qualified public-charity.  If you have already established a DAF and would like to recommend a grant or distribution to PROVAIL, please make your check payable to:

PROVAIL | Attn: Development | 12550 Aurora Avenue N. | Seattle, WA 98133.

Please notify PROVAIL of your recommendation and gift purpose in an email to supportingchoices@provail.org or call 206.826.1060.

Your gift of stock will help improve quality of life for children and adults with disabilities and can help you save on your taxes.  Stock gifts are credited by date of transfer to PROVAIL and must be completed before December 31st for tax credit in a given calendar year.  Please note that it may take several business days to complete the transfer. In order for us to properly acknowledge your gift it is important that you notify PROVAIL of the transaction, name of donor, name of stock, number of shares transferred, and gift purpose. Contact us at 206.826.1060 or supportingchoices@provail.org.

Many of our programs and services rely on the donation of physical items – anything from technology to office supplies. To learn about our current needs, please contact us at supportingchoices@provail.org.

Partnering with PROVAIL offers your organization a unique platform to lead with purpose, helping to meet both business and social responsibility goals while ensuring that individuals with disabilities are afforded the same opportunities as others to self-direct their lives and engage with the community.
